Objective 1: After synthesizing information from the book and storyteller, students will answer reading comprehension questions at a rate of 80% or higher.
Objective 2: Students will learn meanings and signs for new words, the spelling of those words, and use their newly-acquired vocabulary as appropriate.
Objective 3: Students will research and create a report using appropriate editing and revising skills.
Objective 4: After reading the supplied text, students will identify cause-and-effect relationships, draw inferences and conclusions concerning the relationships and work of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Objective 5: After completing all the activities, students will create a timeline with supporting facts by applying chronology through sequencing.
Materials needed: Internet access, worksheets (included), and posters (included).
