Objective 1: Students will demonstrate understanding of natural disaster with a score of 70% or higher on given assessment.
Objective 2: After synthesizing information from the book and storyteller, students will answer reading comprehension questions at a rate of 70% or higher.
Objective 3: Students will learn meanings and signs for new words, the spelling of those words, and use their newly-acquired vocabulary as appropriate.
Objective 4: Students will be able to provide support for a claim in ways that chunk the supportive evidence into logically grouped categories.
Objective 5: Students demonstrate their understanding of the events of the Lewis and Clark expedition by completing a presentation project to a score of 70% or better.
