The Lewis and Clark Expedition: ASL Introduction
In 1803, President Thomas Jefferson wanted to know more about the land in the west. In 1804, President Jefferson commissioned two men named Lewis and Clark to set off on an expedition, finding new land, discovering new animals, and meeting many Native American tribes. With the help of a brave Native American named Sacagawea, Lewis and Clark and their men traveled across the western part of the United States. In this lesson, you are going to learn about Lewis and Clark’s adventures.
