National Deaf Education Conference (NDEC) will be hosting Virtual Conference this Summer!

NDEC will be hosting virtual conference this summer:

As our world has transformed our lives into remote ones, it is important to recognize folks on the frontlines aka teachers, administrators and advocates, still working so hard at their home or workplace day in and day out to serve our deaf and hard of hearing children and their families during this pandemic. We want to honor them by staying committed to our planned conference, so we are transforming our conference into a VIRTUAL ONE with not one part but two parts!! We are so excited about this! Are you, too??

NDECEngage Virtual Conference

The virtual conference will feature our three awesome keynote presentations and a special panel of teachers who will share their experience with teaching during the pandemic.

  • Dates: June 29 and June 30
  • NDEC will share two presentations each day along with a live Q&A session for each presentation.
  • All videos and sessions will be in ASL and English (interpreted and captioned).

NDEC: Signs Video Series

This is modeled after the famous Tedx Talks. Who would want to miss the ASL version of TED Talks?!
  • We will feature our fabulous workshops in the virtual tracks of Assessments and Curriculums, Current Trends, Educational Leadership, Technology in the Classroom through releasing captioned and interpreted videos via YouTube every week after the NDEC Engage conference for three months!
