The Lion and The Mouse (Aesop's Fables)

TEACHER NOTES:

OBJECTIVES:

Students will identify the fable’s story elements by discussing with the class and completing a worksheet.

Students will identify the fable’s characteristics by discussing with the class.

Students will identify the fable’s theme using text evidence by discussing with the class and writing it down in their reading notebook, or doing an ASL video response.

Unknown Words Worksheet (if you plan to have students read the story in English)
