About Shania

Shania Strandberg has been working as a paraprofessional in the Deaf school system for nine years, supporting young children from 18 months to 8 years old. She spent her first three years at Metro Deaf School in Minnesota and the past six years at the Texas School for the Deaf. Currently, she supports students in the PIP program. Shania has a deep passion for working with children who have additional needs, particularly those with autism. She loves sharing her knowledge about autism with her team and takes great joy in watching her students with autism thrive. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in special education.
